This brilliantly produced fanzine came from Hitchin, in Hertfordshire and featured a Charlie interview which was conducted by Gez Lowry in the Refrectory at the North Herts College on 17 May 1980, where the Subs played "a dynamite set too brilliant for words".
The origin of the lyrics for Teenage are touched upon by Charlie in his interview, citing Adam Ant's influence! In Gez's interview with Adam in the same issue (p3), Adam is asked the following question: "I've seen Charlie Harper at one of your gigs, is he a friend of yours or was he attracted by your music?" Adam replies that "Charlie is a(n) old friend and I gave him some support gigs at the Marquee in '78. A real good bloke". Charlie himself goes into more detail regarding his association with Adam Ant in the interview featured below.
The fanzine carried all the major players of the day in this issue, which also sees a Jam/Paul Weller interview, and a Sham 69 interview as well as another with The Lurkers.
There are some gig reviews, including the likes of Chron Gen, the Undertones and Chelsea. Absolute top stuff, and a fascintaing read even today! There is also a Subs gig review (see below) by Russ Clayton and even a letter from Graham Matthias!
Along with these gems you also get record reviews and a competition and poll.
The fanzine was edited by brothers Gez and Gub Lowry.
