The Subs' first single release on Captain Oi Records following the release of Universal.

The traditional sea shanty 'The Drunken Sailor' was first published in 1891, and is here backed with Reclaim the Streets, from the The Revolution's Here EP, where it first appeared under the shortened title Reclaim the Street.

The front cover features a cartoon of our favourite harmonica playing punk rocker drawn by Crashed Out vocalist Chris Wright. Collectors should note that promo copies of the single and 'Universal' CD were sent out with a UK Subs lighter, badge and bottle top opener with journos invited to “have a drink and a smoke with the UK Subs”!*
